Building the Growth Engine for the AI Era

Cardinal Element partners with revenue leaders to build AI-native growth systems. We don't stop at advice. We design, implement, and measure the systems that create pipeline, convert leads, and keep customers.

Our Mission

Help growth teams break free from legacy tools and manual work by building AI-native systems that move pipeline, speed conversion, and lift retention, with numbers you can see.

Our Approach

Why Cardinal Element works differently.

AI-Native Thinking

We don't bolt AI onto broken process. We rebuild the system around what AI can do well.

Measurable Impact

Every engagement ties back to the numbers that matter: pipeline, conversion, and retention.

Strategic Partnership

We work beside your team. Named tools. Named tradeoffs. No black boxes.

Continuous Innovation

AI changes fast. We track the signal, cut the noise, and tell you what deserves adoption.

Scott Ewalt

Founder & Principal

Scott Ewalt has led product, marketing, and customer experience for $250MM+ businesses across two decades, including Boingo Wireless, TruConnect, and Bryj Technologies. He has owned the numbers this site keeps coming back to: pipeline, conversion, retention. Before generative AI broke into the boardroom, he was already building the automations and data workflows that moved those numbers.

His work covered the full revenue stack: marketing automation, AI-assisted digital advertising, data products, customer care teams, and BPO operations.

Generative AI didn't change what Scott builds. It blew the roof off how far those systems can go.

Cardinal Element is the result: an AI-native consultancy that builds the growth architecture modern revenue teams need. Current client work includes Redshift and Hex pipelines, payroll automation, multi-agent systems on the Claude Agent SDK, and venue intelligence built on a knowledge graph of the U.S. airport ecosystem.

Scott holds a BA in Psychology from USC and an MBA from Pepperdine. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
