Privacy notice
Last updated July 16, 2026
This notice explains how Cardinal Element collects, uses, and discloses information through cardinalelement.com. It also explains the controls available to you.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the site and the choices you make, we may process:
- Page URLs, referring URLs, campaign parameters, click identifiers, and first or last source.
- Browser, device, approximate location, and interaction information from optional tags.
- Your email address when you subscribe to Elemental Insights.
- Contact and scheduling details you submit to Calendly when you book a meeting.
- Messages or other information you choose to send to us.
How we use information
- Operate, secure, and improve the website.
- Understand which content and marketing sources lead to useful conversations.
- Respond to inquiries, schedule meetings, and manage customer relationships.
- Send Elemental Insights to people who expressly subscribe.
- Measure advertising and website performance when optional tags are allowed.
Cookies, tags, and local storage
Optional analytics and marketing tags are off by default. If you allow them, we load Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, HubSpot tracking, RB2B, Vercel Analytics, and Vercel Speed Insights. These providers may set or read identifiers and receive website usage information under their own terms.
We store your privacy choice and, when optional tags are allowed, first-touch and last-touch attribution in your browser. Rejecting optional tags removes the stored attribution and attempts to clear first-party tracking cookies. A supported Global Privacy Control signal is treated as a rejection when you have not made a choice on this site.
Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers for specific business functions:
- Vercel for website hosting, performance, and optional analytics.
- Google, Meta, LinkedIn, HubSpot, and RB2B for optional analytics, attribution, advertising, and CRM.
- Calendly for scheduling. Its widget loads only after you ask to open the scheduler.
- Resend for newsletter contact storage and email delivery.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business transaction. Optional advertising tags can constitute sharing with advertising partners under some privacy laws. You can reject or withdraw permission through Cookie preferences.
HubSpot and Calendly
If optional tags are allowed, HubSpot connects website activity and source information to a contact after that person identifies themselves. Calendly receives the source parameters available for a consenting visitor when the scheduler opens. Our existing Calendly integration creates or updates the related meeting and contact in HubSpot after a booking.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and normal business records. Retention can differ by system and provider. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You can allow, reject, or later change optional tags through Cookie preferences. Newsletter messages include an unsubscribe method. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, and to opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for making a privacy request.
Send requests to scott@cardinalelement.com. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
Changes and contact
We may update this notice as the site or our practices change. The date below shows the latest revision. For questions, contact Cardinal Element at scott@cardinalelement.com.
